Description
Swanson 40 deck saloon quality blue water cruising yacht, now for sale in Rebak Marina, Langkawi. Waypoint is a strongly built 12.2 metre GRP cruising yacht fully equipped and ready to go. Fresh out of the yard in Pangkor Marina, Malaysia, where she underwent some routine maintenance and upgrades. She is a true blue water cruiser. Recently refitted and antifouled. Ready to go with nothing to spend. Launched 2002. Built in Australia and originally registered to Australian (NSW) commercial survey standards she has never been chartered. She is a capable and honest blue water cruising boat, easy to sail, and a perfect home on the ocean. She has a beautiful custom timber fit out in celery-top pine. Waypoint has two living zones - a deck saloon zone and a galley zone with padded bench seating at galley table. Generous enclosed double V berth cabin with shelves and stowage, hanging locker and ensuite. Oversized single pilot/ quarter berth to port. Single berth with 'trotter box' to port side of galley zone. The saloon table can be lowered and with some further adjustments to cushions could be made to function as a double berth in the saloon. The deck saloon design enables navigation either from the wheel in the aft cockpit or alternatively (using saloon plotter and saloon autopilot to steer) from out of the weather. The saloon is only three steps down from the cockpit and is light and airy - avoiding the 'in the pit' feeling of many cruising designs where all situational awareness and most light is lost once below. The large saloon dining table seats seven easily and enjoys wide views. The saloon is very well ventilated not only by the companionway, but also by two Lewmar deck hatches, a Lewmar hatch on each saloon side window and a Lewmar hatch on the forward facing window. Roomy aft cockpit. A joy seat for two people with removable Sunbrella covered cushion is perched above the tuck is a great spot for watch-keeping with the wheel and controls close at hand, or for sundowners. Photos of the build process are available. The quality of the build, systems and fittings will be evident on inspection. Please contact us for any more information or to arrange a viewing appointment. Come for a viewing and be introduced also to the Rebak Marina resort lifestyle where all residents have access to the resort pool, gymnasium, tennis courts and bars and restaurants. Langkawi is a duty free island with a full list of yacht services and facilities, sheltered anchorages, and right on the door step of Thailand and Indonesia. A perfect place to begin your next cruising adventures. Price is in Australian Dollars: ,000 AUD. Seaspray Yacht Sales is a division of Seaspray Marine Services. Qualified Shipwright Services established and operated in Langkawi for 14 years.
