Their name is synonymous with excellence in yacht building - their yachts have competed in the America’s Cup, Fastnet, Olympics and Whitbread international yacht races. KESTRA is a proven world-class classic blue water cruiser built in 1972. This fine example of the Nicholson 38 class has been consistently well-maintained and upgraded by a succession of 5 experienced and knowledgeable owners. She has been lifted out and serviced annually – including anti-fouling and new anode. Health issues have reluctantly led the current owners to present her for sale. Currently located in the Rías Baixas wine-growing area of north-west Spain, "Kestra" is in the rare position of being able to remain in EU waters. She has pleasing sweeping hull lines, good sailing performance and headroom, comfortable accommodation and everything is close at hand when under way. The central wheelhouse has excellent visibility whilst being well-protected in all weathers. She is ready to go blue-water cruising.
