A lovely sailing or motor yacht. Louisa was built in 1975 and built to last - these are robust vessels and will sail on indefinitely. She feels really spacious inside, with 4 berths and plenty of headroom. The head is in full working order and was replaced by the previous owner. There is no cooker as this was disconnected two owners ago. We have found a camping stove meets all our need and the extra space is useful. The original Volvo engine and gearbox was replaced in 2016 with a Bukh DV24. The Bukh engines have an excellent, well deserved reputation. We both sail and motor Louisa and she has been perfect for us and the family and really is a terrific boat, but we’ve had our eye on something a little different and unfortunately can’t keep two boats on the water! Length 25’3” Length at water line 21’ Beam 9’4” Displacement 4.5 tons Headroom 6’6” Engine Bukh 24 Draft 3’4” Same hull as the Fisher 25 but with a more efficient sloop rig. Tough and capable for its type. GRP construction. 4 berth, 1 head. All gas appliances removed. Currently on hard standing at Woodbridge boat yard (we’re not sure if we’ll launch her as we assume prospective buyers will wish to inspect the hull. Comes with quite a bit of paperwork. Things to consider: Bilge pump repare/replace Running rigging soak out salt/replace Deck grip worse for ware Paintwork tired No internal Lights Enquiries from overseas customers will not be considered.
