Hardy Pilot 20, Blue Chip, date of build 1987, 20hp outboard Blue Chip is a Hardy Pilot 20, year of build 1987. She’s been kept on the Thames for the last 10 years, with regular and relatively gentle use. The 20hp 4-stroke Honda outboard engine has been professionally winterised and serviced every year. It last had a full service in May 2025. The outboard runs beautifully and comes with electric power trim and tilt. There’s a bracket for an auxiliary outboard too. The dark blue awning is sound (replaced 2 years ago) and has a zip-out rear panel and roll-up sides. WC is a PortaPotti-style loo. Cushions and upholstery throughout the boat well-kept and clean. Vee berth with fill-in sleeps two comfortably. In the cockpit, an additional fill-in across the aft seating creates a third full-length berth. Comes with anchor, lines and fenders, plus interior curtains. Galley comprises a sink (manual pump tap), space for a gas cooker and utensils. Boat Safety Scheme certificate was renewed in March 2026. LOA 6.1m (20ft) Beam 2.5m (8ft 2in) For the last year Blue Chip has been at Penton Hook Marina and she’s available to view there now, on the water and ready to go. Lovely cruising boat for a family or couple, great on the river and previously she was kept on the East Coast as a sea boat.
