The Maxi 84 is a 28 ft / 8.4 m fin keel monohull sailboat designed by Pelle Petterson and built by Maxi Yachts in Sweden to be a fast and safe family cruiser / racer which is more than happy coastal cruising and channel hopping as it is in club regattas. Obsession is cruised regularly with multiple trips to France, Belgium & the Netherlands every year and also performs well in round the cans club racing regattas with obsession hard to beat even by much newer larger yachts. Obsession has a very proven race history since I have owned it having competed in NFYC summer and winter series as well as other local clubs with a very convincing win in the west wick yacht club winter series last year. Obsession is available immediately and is ready to cruise or club race. Obsessions mooring at Fambridge Yacht Haven is also available to transfer if required and subject to Havens approval. Last out of the water survey was completed in May 2020 with all recommended items being updated or improved, Obsession is a very well maintained yacht with the benefit of being re-engined in 2005 by the previous owner before spending about 5 years on the hard so has low engine hours.
