“Th1rt3en” is a modern, high spec and well cared for 64ft narrowboat which comfortably sleeps 7 people and was originally launched in 2018. In 2023, due to a change in the way the owners were using the boat, the boat came back to the Ortomarine workshop for an interior re-configuration, complete re-paint & battery/ alternator/ inverter/ solar upgrade. The Tyler Wilson semi-trad hull is fitted out in a popular reverse layout design, featuring a good-sized galley, pullman dinette, and fixed curved sofa/bed in the saloon. Beyond the saloon, there are 2 double bedrooms and a bathroom – providing the prefect space for a family to comfortably enjoy life aboard. Th1rt3en is fitted with a Canaline 42 keel cooled diesel engine, with an upgraded 24V/190A Alternator, freewheel pulley and Mastervolt Alpha Pro II regulator to allow faster charging of the 24VDC domestic batteries. There is a Victron 5kVA inverter/charger, a Vetus BOW7512D bow thruster, and 8 roof mounted 200W solar panels. It also features Ortomarine’s bespoke boat monitoring system “Ortomate”. This provides complete local and remote monitoring of the boat, including: tank levels & battery status; remote/local control of deck lights, central heating and hot water; GPS tracking; Wi-Fi via Teltonika RUT950 (SIM card not included); and high gain antenna for excellent mobile signal coverage. This is one of Ortomarine’s original diesel boats – they now specialise in electric propulsion, so if you are interested in converting Th1rt3en to electric propulsion this is certainly an option. Step aboard via the stern and you'll immediately notice the generous headroom (6'6") and spacious interior feel - due to the “Birmingham Square” hull sides and the large double-glazed windows and portholes throughout. Bright, airy, and thoughtfully laid out, the interior combines modern style with practical comfort, and with two bedrooms it is perfect for family use.
