Our Swift Explorer 18ft dayboat is for sale. Also know as a Morton Explorer. The cat ketch rig (2 bermudan sails) makes her very easy to handle for one or more people. Unstayed masts - the perfect rig! She can carry 4 or more adults plus children with ease in her 2 cockpits. Fast. Built of grp in good condition. Timberwork refininshed 2 years ago and the deck paint renewed. Sails in good condition with sailcoats. Outboard motor well for 2-5 hp outboard under the tiller. We are keeping the outboard for our tender, but one would be easily purchased new or used. Stainless steel centreplate replaced in the last few years and a good road trailer with a winch. Both sails have reef points. Built in buoyancy and bags within to make sure. Anchor; bilge pump. Bilge keels so she can sit upright. Spray hood/tent over the forward cockpit if required. A really proper boat. Sails well and good fun. During the season she lives on our swinging mooring in Chichester harbour. Can be seen in Emsworth on her trailer.
