2003 Telstar 28 “Mingulay” Trimaran for Sale “Mingulay” is a rare 2003 Telstar 28 trimaran that blends performance, innovation, and cruising comfort. Built in the USA and later imported to Europe, she is believed to be the only Telstar 28 of her kind on the continent. Designed by Tony Smith and crafted by Performance Cruising Inc., this model is known for its smart folding amas. With the amas deployed she spans 18 feet; folded, her beam narrows to 8.5 feet, making trailering and tight-berth mooring simple. This Telstar 28 trimaran received a thoughtful range of upgrades. A new Raymarine navigation suite enhances confidence underway. A screecher and asymmetric spinnaker deliver power and versatility across shifting conditions. Her 20 hp Tohatsu outboard with electric start and tilt provides smooth and efficient propulsion.
