Description

Eclipse is a 40' Traditional design and layout narrowboat from 2004. She is for sale with the option to take over her fully transferable, residential mooring at Packet Boat Marina, just a 15 minutes walk from West Drayton Station (Zone 6) from where the Elizabeth Line gives rapid access to the West End and City of London. She is fitted with a bow deck canopy and entering from the bow, her saloon is spacious and well equipped with a built in sofa designed to convert into an additional double berth for guests. Heating is via a multi fuel Morso stove and a separate diesel fuelled central heating system with radiators throughout the boat. Eclipse's fully equipped, walk through, galley features good storage and work top space and includes a fridge with freezer compartment, oven, grille and four burner hob. There is also a good sized stainless steel sink with integrated draining board. There is also a side hatch on the starboard side of the galley for additional light and ventilation. Moving further towards the stern of the boat is her bathroom. The shower benefits from a glass door and has a cassette toilet with a built in vanity unit beneath the basin. In the stern of the boat is the double bedroom, again with good storage space and the privacy of portholes. The far end of the bedroom gives access to steps leading up to the traditional;-style rear deck. Eclipse's 35HP Beta Diesel engine is installed beneath the rear deck and the engine and engine compartment appear in good condition. Her BSS Safety Certificate is valid until 29/02/2028 and it is understood she was last blacked c.4 years ago. Unfortunately the recent, long term owner passed away and we have limited paperwork to accompany the boat and, due to the length of his ownership, no recent survey history. Externally, Eclipse's paintwork will require attention but she is equipped ready for her next owner to move onboard.
