The Waves’ was built in 2004, has no over plating and has been extremely well looked after, with modern upgrades and in great condition- ready for immediate live aboard! I’ve absolutely LOVED living on The Waves for the past 5 years, but am ready for the next chapter and am hoping to find someone who will appreciate and look after her as well as I have! I can confidently say this is an excellent boat, both technically in terms of hull and engine, and in terms of comfort. Perfect for London cruising - open plan and big enough to feel spacious, but small enough to easily turn at any point on the canal (no winding hole needed). I have 6+ years of boating experience and am very happy to answer questions or help newbies get started on the canals as was once done for me :) Recent upgrades & improvements include: • Victron Bluetooth battery monitor • 3 brand new leisure batteries (December 2025) • Additional USB sockets and 12v power points • 12v fridge • Upgraded locks and hatch for maximum security and safety • Fresh water pump replaced last year • Shower pump replaced the year before • Simploo composting toilet with carbon filter • Interior redecorated with additional bedroom storage • Ottoman bed on pneumatic hinges providing excellent under-bed storage • Custom cratch cover fitted to the bow (paid £1K+ for this) • Bedroom radiator heated via the solid fuel stove • Boatman solid fuel stove serviced last year, with fan to circulate warmth • Stern deck painted last year • CO and smoke alarms fitted • New warm white LED flush lighting installed • New chimney and cowl fitted • Brand new bilge pump installed in December 2025 • Good roof space in between solar panels for gardening / vegetable patch :) Other key features: - Beta Marine 38 diesel engine with PRM gearbox, last serviced Dec 2025 - Full out-of-water survey carried out June 2020; hull in great condition, last blacked March 2023, no overplating required - Integral steel bow water tank (exact capacity unknown) - lasts for months in typical liveaboard use, longer than most friends’ boats - Approx. 200-litre integral steel diesel tank - Cruiser stern providing generous, sociable outdoor space - Great electrical setup - 2 x solar panels and Victron inverter to step up to 240v - Valid Boat Safety Certificate until June 2026 The exterior paintwork is due a refresh, which I was planning to do this Spring/Summer - but on reflection it feels like a nice opportunity for a new owner to choose their own colour and put their own stamp on the boat themselves hence listing now! Happy to discuss price with this in mind. Am able to organise immediate viewings in East London, but not in any rush to sell- would rather find the right person.
