Our stunning Bickerstaffe narrowboat is up for sale. At just 3 years old (launched May 2023) it is a superb example of the Bickerstaffe standard design and internal quality fitout. Skyfall has only been used for summer cruising and has not been used as a live-aboard. The colour is a clear over base metallic, and sprayed in Aston Martin Skyfall Silver (hence the name). The finish has also been protected by an Autoglym ceramic coating which has been re-applied before and after each cruising season. This coating dries to a hard gloss finish which adds protection against tree damage. The boat name Skyfall is in black automotive standard vinyl so should a name change be required, this can be easily done. Regular servicing has been completed in line with the requirements of Vetus and detailed in the maintenance manual. Last serviced at 750 hours using Vetus filters (September 2025) Front and rear Amtrim supplied covers include the rear canopy boot for stowage when cruising. 2 easily removable dog doors are also included. Maintenance and cleaning of the canopy has been done annually in line with the supplier’s recommendations, using Ultramar cleaner and waterproofing liquids to remove any over winter staining and adding a waterproof coating. The Boat shell is manufactured by Elton Moss (parent company of Bickerstaffe) and is a square cruiser stern. It has 2 gas lockers and includes 2 gas cylinders. The seating area has easy clean removable cushions. This larger than normal area also includes a removable table for drinks and alfresco dining. A shoreline hook up socket is fitted at the bottom of the control panel and includes a 10m shoreline cable. The internal fitout features a reverse layout with the galley, dinette and living saloon area at the rear/centre, the bathroom in the centre and bedroom at the front. The galley comprises a Microwave 240v oven, Thetford oven and grill with a 3 ring gas hob and 12 volt fridge with freezer compartment. There are 2 storage steps from the rear cruiser stern. Also included is a washing machine plumbed into the cold water system. Hot water is from a large hot water calorifier tank mounted away from the engine bay. Water is heated from a diesel powered Eberspacher unit and /or the engine coolant when running. The calorifier can also be heated by an immersion heater when using shoreline power. The galley area comprises 2 pull out drawers for kitchen food storage, and cupboards for all other equipment. The utility cupboard as you enter the galley houses a large 3kw Vetus inverter and opposite there is an airing cupboard with drying shelves. The galley worktops are made from light grey quartz with a porcelain sink and mixer tap, to the right of which is the control panel for the main boat electrics. The Eberspacher diesel heater and Victron solar input levels are all located on the bulkhead at the rear of the galley. The galley and saloon flooring are engineered oak and in excellent condition. The main saloon area includes a dinette which will seat 4 people and can convert into a double bed. The dinette area is raised to provide additional storage under the seat structure. There are also 2 opening duck hatches to provide additional light and ventilation when needed. The main seating area has 2 Ikea Poang seats trimmed in a light blue material and a drinks table. Housed opposite within a cabinet is a JVC 32” smart TV and Samsung soundbar. This is linked by bluetooth to a router which is included in the sale (Data sim card will be needed) Adjacent to the door into the bathroom is a multifuel stove with a tiled surround and base. Any unused fuel will be included. The walk-through bathroom contains a Thetford ceramic cassette toilet (second cassette supplied loose) a 900mm quadrant shower with Mira thermostatic valve, and grey marble effect shower panels. The vanity unit contains a white quartz topped corner sink unit and mixer tap with wall mounted mirror plus a cupboard for storing essentials. A 12v extractor fan with combined light is fitted to the ceiling. Flooring in the bathroom is grey wood effect Vinyl. The bedroom includes a larger than normal 4’6” fitted double bed with 3 drawers below, extra storage behind these is accessed under the bed. There are 2 overhead storage cupboards above the bed, a double wardrobe and corner unit, wired for TV aerial with power outlet. The flooring is grey carpet. There are 2 solid access doors to the Well Deck. In the Well Deck you will find 2 large lockers both with detachable cushions for an additional seating area. Under the well deck is a 400-litre stainless steel water tank. There is also a 3rd locker externally in the bow, accessed via a lift-up hatch. Skyfall is currently moored on the Trent & Mersey canal in the Staffordshire area.
