Description
Nominally 37ft but around 38ft cruiser. This is the 3 cabin version with linear galley to port and table/seating area to starboard (this converts to a bed) with chart table behind. Launched in May 2001 and in June 2020 was fitted with a new Volvo D1-30 diesel engine and saildrive. She wasn't used much after and engine hours are very low (113hrs) (Oil and filter change done 24/2/2025). She has solar and wind charging. Furlex headsail reefing and in mast mainsail reefing make this boat very easy to handle at sea. The main is in good shape but the headsail is tired. There is a spare mainsail and storm jib and spinnaker with pole. Good anchor and chain with Lofrans Tigres electric windlass. The interior is a darker mahogany type. There is a fridge and Eberspacher heater both shown working to me when I bought her in April 2024. Hot water from engine and immersion heater from shore power. There's a shower on the transom too. Two berth cushion covers need replacement. The autopilot wheel drive failed on my trip from Cowes to Anglesey so I have bought a new one and fitted March 2025. I have fitted six new stanchion bases. I scraped the antifoul off the rudder, it has what looks like grey Gelshield epoxy, extra coats of Gelshield applied to the rudder this year. The hull is also epoxied. The keel was scraped, ground and rust treated and primed 2024. The antifoul paint has been done May 2025, (Seajet self polishing.). The boat has C &J bimini/cockpit enclosure frames but no canvas. I've had a new jade green sprayhood, beautifully made by local Sea Jay. If I kept the boat, would fit solar panels to the cockpit cover frame. Alternatively, Sea Jay would make a matching cockpit enclosure or bimini. Lots of gear onboard, power tools, tools, sewing machine, spares, hardware, harness tethers, fenders, spare CQR anchor, stainless steel emergency tiller etc all gear left onboard.
