Dorothy Grace is an amazing 56’ Narrowboat with bags of character. She was rebuilt from a 1972 Liverpool Boat Hull by Sharpness Shipyard in 2018. She was fitted with a like new Beta Marine 38HP Engine (450 hours) & a PRM 150 Gearbox in 2024 when she was taken out of water, checked over & repainted all over. Oil Fired Aga. Flooring is a mix of high quality laminate & solid oak click on top of a 2 1/2” hard block wood panelling base. Ceiling is Japanese Oak tongue & groove. Beneath bed is a large insulated water tank with storage above it. Lots of storage including 2 wardrobes in bathroom that has a small bath with overhead shower & a cast iron There are 3 Solar panels. Independent 240V& 12V systems, if your 12V batteries die the 240V still works vice versa. Windows, Portholes & Skylights are all from a ship. Front & rear doors are steel with a second steel Fire door ( good luck breaking into this boat in a hurry!!!). Internal Headroom is 6’3” There is a sliding door so you can separate the bedroom & bathroom from the living area. Boat Safety Certificate until 26/12/2026. External Hull Survey was done 21/11/2025. Moored around Rickmansworth Area.
