They were designed and fitted out by Reg Freeman yachts with the hulls laid up by Kemp and Pitt Ltd in Southampton. They have the ability to cope with heavy weather and cross oceans due to their strong build quality. This example has reported to have been lightly used during its lifetime having been built in 1969.
