2007 Shetland Family 4 powered by 75hp Evinrude ETEC based Chichester Harbour. We purchased the boat in 2009 when it was based on the Thames. We moved it to Chichester Harbour and the following changes/additions were made to make her seaworthy:- More powerful 75hp Evinrude ETEC installed Uprated steering cable 2 x 22.7 Litre Fuel Tanks Uprated battery Professionally custom- built auxiliary engine bracket (used with 5 and 6 hp - 5hp is sufficient) (Auxiliary engine not included) Bow roller 6kg Danforth anchor Compass Fish Finder Sonar New Fire Extinguisher April 25 Anti foul paint April 25 (stored on dry stack since) Custom tonneau adjusted and repaired Feb 26 The boat has primarily been used for cruising and for the odd fishing trip. With the 75 hp ETEC, Speeds around 25 to 30 kt can be achieved with a comfortable cruise of around 20kt. With the cathedral hull, she is very stable on the plane without the need for trim tabs. At rest she is also very stable for fishing. The 45 litre fuel capacity provides very useful endurance. The boat including its original trim and accommodation in the cockpit and cabin is in very good condition for its age. Freshly polished hull and topsides. She's now ready for new adventures!
