A layout centaur re-engined, new electrics, new standing and running rigging, windows rebedded 2020, new upholstery, new foresail '22, new headlining (panelled in saloon), new cooker, new toilet 23 - these are just the highlights but in brief she was stripped back to bare bones and pretty much everything replaced. Keelbolts were rebedded by previous owner. We have sailed her extensively around the East Coast (and with her shallow draft even managed the Havengore crossing) and she is a remarkably safe, comfortable and reliable boat - we have moved onto a larger boat and reluctantly looking for a new home for our Centaur. Our priority was to enjoy sailing in a comfortable, stable boat - she has lived up to the Centaur reputation in some pretty gusty F6 weather but has been a remarkably pleasant sail under spinnaker. We have even managed a friendly club race cup! Located on the River Medway near Gillingham, she is currently on the hard (engine regularly run and starts first time). We belong to one of the oldest cruising clubs in the UK - friendly and affordable for anyone looking to join and easy travel from London.The club has its' own slipway so no expensive launch/haulout fees.
