Boat being sold with new Trailer and outboard motor. Whiffler was purchased 5 years ago and was completely refurbished by Ben Harris and Co at his yard in Gweek. This included replacement of most oak ribs and sistering of those forward. Inner and outer surfaces of the hull, rudder, tiller, side benches, thwarts, bowsprit, mast, boom and gaff were stripped and treated with 9 coats of marine varnish. The centreplate was removed, scaled and treated. Bottom boards were coated with non-slip inclusion. A new Yamaha outboard motor model F2.5BMH long shaft serial number 1037619 was purchased from Robin Curnow in May 2024 and has been maintained and serviced by them. All hull and mast fittings, standing and running rigging were examined and maintained as required. Since this major refurbishment, maintenance has included touch up to varnish work as required. Anti-fouling applied to outer bottom. The slab reef mainsail has been cleaned and doubled in areas of wear with cringles replaced as required. Battens are in good order. The jib is fitted with a roller furling system. The winter cover has been strengthened in areas of contact. A new day cover (mast fitted) has been provided and all turnbuckles renewed. A new road trailer was purchased in 2024 from TMS in St Austell and is complete with tailboard and cabling. Securing straps are provided. The boat comes complete with small gear including buoyancy bags, 2 oars and rowlocks, painters, small pneumatic fenders, inshore flare kit, first aid kit, 3 x lifejackets all in good order.
