As a later model, her cabin layout is more spacious and practical than the earlier Hardys and provides a neat dining area that converts to a double berth. There is also a handy Porta Potti compartment. The cockpit and wheelhouse feel very spacious with its excellent head room, and comprises helm and navigator's seats, traditional ship's wheel, sunroof/hatch, sliding side windows, compass depth log switch panel, and plenty of storage in the underseat lockers. The two rear lockers house a battery on one side, and the fuel tank on the other. She also benefits from an engine cover, canopy, removable stainless steel light pole, self-draining anchor locker, anchor/chain/warp bow fairlead, a stainless steel pulpit rail, and comes complete with all the lines and fenders needed to cruise her. Her handrails are handmade in hard wood for durability, and the vessel is still in her original gel coat. Cormorant is powered by a Mercury Fourstroke Electric start engine that was upgraded to a 20hp by Mercury (Barrus) in 2012 thus making her an excellent boat for rivers, inland waters and coastal adventures.
