Relutant sale of my Narrowboat built in 1997 by renowned and well respected builder Mike Heywood (Evans and Son). She is a manageable 47ft long and has and attractive Joshua Bow and stern. These boats were built with quantity steel and at the last survey had no loss of steel. She was epoxy coated in November 2021. The safety certificate was completed in May 2025, expires 2029. As the 3rd owner of this fantastic traditional stern boat I have a full and comprehensive history including the original plans and working diagrams with operational guides and photos. This boat is set up for off grid living full time or cruising. She is powered by a Beta marine BD 1005 engine and PRM gearbox. She has a 200 ltr diesel tank for extended cruising and will be sold with a full tank of fuel. The solar system was professionally installed with 700watt and is controlled with an Epever MPPT Tracer unit. There are 4x110 amp AGM house batteries and a seperate starter battery. The 240 volt is provided by a Victron 1000 watt Bluetooth inverter with a separate Sterling Ultra charger. The gas bottles are stored in the lockers in the bow with two convenient sized 6kg bottles for easy lifting. There is a Hardy Hamlet Multi fuel stove in the salon mid ships. And a new 02/2026 Eberspacher diesel heater feeding 4 radiators and hot water. The fresh water is stored in a stainless steel water tank with Jabsco water filter system fitted to the kitchen tap. Thetford Toilet also has a spare cassette. As the original toilet tank is still fitted it would be a simple job to refit a pump out toilet. Fully furnished with the usual white goods,full size gas cooker, 12v Lec fridge, both less than 4 years old. Emma premium small double mattress, only ever slept on with a topper and protector. LED lighting throughout. Includes all boating equipment. mooring pins, boat hooks poles etc. This boat has had no expense spared in both her original build and ongoing maintenance. The boat is on a quite private rural garden mooring, (high use),with running water, a shed and parking, no electric, sale could include looked after generator and a twin tub washing machine. Everything needed for very affordable living close to a51 and M6. If asking price achieved could include present moorings, paid until March 2027 (subject to usual approval).
