This 50ft Stowe Hill narrowboat, built in 1986 by the respected Stowe Hill Marine, presents as a solid, straightforward craft with a good deal of potential. Stowe Hill boats from this era are well-regarded for their quality steelwork, traditional styling, and robust fit-outs, and this example appears no exception in terms of structure and engineering. Internally, the vessel is part-way through a cosmetic refresh. It is not a project in the structural or mechanical sense - rather, it would simply benefit from a thorough redecoration to bring the accommodation up to a more contemporary standard. The existing layout is perfectly usable as is, central shower room, galley, a forward cabin (with double bed) and stove. However, the boat offers an excellent opportunity for a buyer looking to personalise the interior without undertaking major works. Externally, the boat would also benefit from a full repaint, which would greatly enhance its overall presentation.
