Nutwood is a sweet 40’ cruiser stern narrowboat built in 1995 by Liverpool Boats. She had a full repaint in 2024, along with blacking in December 2024, the engine serviced in March 2026, and fully cleaned inside and out ready for sale! She is fitted out in oak faced ply with oak trim throughout, and a mix of vinyl and carpet flooring. The 4’0” cratch covered well deck features lockers either side, with the integral water tank housed below (cleaned and repainted 2024). Steps lead down into the 8’2” saloon, with a set of shelves and fixed bench seats either side (converts to a spare cross bed double), a corner cupboard, Sony CD/radio, and a Heron solid fuel stove. The 6’0” galley follows, with laminate worktops, a stainless steel sink, 12v Inlander fridge with ice tray, Vanette oven & grill, Vanette 4 burner gas hob, and a range of cupboards for storage. A corridor leads aft to the 5’0” bathroom, with a Thetford Porta Potti toilet, square shower tray with curtain across, and a ceramic wash basin recessed into the cupboard top. Next is the 6’2” bedroom, with a 6’2” x 4’0” double berth, with storage under and cupboards over. Steps lead out onto the 7’2” cruiser stern deck, with plenty of room for crew. A stern deck locker houses the gas bottles, and the Beta engine is housed below. 12v power is supplied by 2x 110ah domestics, topped up by 165w of solar with a Tracer MPPT solar charge controller, and a separate starter battery which was new in March 2026. 240v power is via the landline only. A Sterling ProCharge D charger and galvanic isolator are also installed. Hot water is supplied by a Morco instant gas water heater located in the galley. Lighting on board is LED throughout. A sweet little boat, which is ideal for weekends away or could even make a lovely floating home.
