Beneteau First 211 A great example of this popular performance cruiser. This boat is at home cruising around the coastline with the family or equally suited for club and local racing. I won't bore you with how good these are, there's plenty of that online. I bought this particular one from Fox's in Ipswich last year. I bought it for several reasons: the colour (and cool interior cushions), but more importantly, the birthday it had in relation to fresh running rigging, keel bolts, and a green light from a comprehensive survey which I had carried out. I bought a full set of new sails from Hyde. They walk the perfect line to allow me to race it but with longevity built in. They've been used less than 10 times and still feel as new. I also ordered a FFR / code zero and sourced a carbon pole and new furler for it. I haven't fitted them yet, but everything is ready to go if you wish. It also has a brand new symmetrical kite too. Both kites have launching bags, and while I was spending £5k @ Hyde I also bought a boom cover and guardrail covers too. The boat didn't come with a trailer but it seemed mad not to have the matching RM trailer for a 211. I found one, and paid too much money for it, but to save on the storage fees over winter and have the agility of being able to 'dingy' sail it and get it out for scrubbing was a no brainer. It tows great and fits on a driveway just fine (same footprint as a car). It's got fresh raymarine nav gear and aside from a few paint touchups on the outside which aren't perfect, i'd say it's very presentable and has been a pleasurable entry into yachting. Only reason for selling is i'm after the same thing but just slighly bigger to accommodate my growing family. If you have a 25.7, I'd happily trade with cash your way. I have paid for the insurance and its mooring for the year and this advert is a bit of hell-mary to see if I can get it sold this side of the season and get something slightly bigger sorted. Truthfully, very happy to enjoy it for the year ahead. Happy to barter on price with / without engine / trailer etcetera but I think you'd be mad to split this perfect setup. Come grab a coffee and poke it while it's on my driveway before it goes in for the season. I've spent £5k on sails, £2.5k on the trailer, and the £2.5k engine in the last year.
