Chieftain is a 65-foot cruiser stern narrow boat which was built by Cotswold narrow boats in 1998. She is powered by a Barrus Shire 42hp marine diesel engine located under the spacious rear deck which is covered by a pram hood. Attached to the stern of the boat is a bike rack platform which can be used for extra storage or removed as required. She benefits from an original construction specification of 12mm/6mm/4mm. Layout from the rear comprises of an office/storage area which also houses the electrical controls for the boat. Following this is the double bedroom with fixed double bed including plenty of storage under the bed and a half height wardrobe/dressing table. Next comes the walkthrough bathroom with bath with shower over, Thetford cassette toilet and wash basin. You then enter the spacious galley with full sized cooker, stainless steel sink/drainer, fridge, microwave, underfloor storage and ample cupboard space and work top space. At the front of the cabin is the large saloon with solid fuel stove, 3-seater sofa bed, display cabinets and desk. A stable door opens out onto the forward well deck which is covered by a fixed cratch and cover. Diesel hot air heater supplying rear half of the cabin. Recently docked for hull blacking. Current Boat Safety Certificate until January 2027.
