Looking for a compact, zippy little speedboat that's perfect for family days out, waterskiing, tubing, or just cruising? This classic 15ft Sunbird SPL 150 is a great all-rounder with room for 4–6 people in the bowrider layout. Built in 1989 by Sunbird Boat Co, she has a solid fiberglass hull (beam 6'1", lightweight at around 1,100lbs dry) that tows and launches easily. She's surprisingly stable and responsive for her size – ideal for lakes, rivers, or sheltered coastal waters. Power & Performance In April 2019, she was fitted with a brand new Evinrude E-TEC 60HP outboard by the official Evinrude dealer Chas Newens Marine (Putney, London). This modern direct-injection engine delivers excellent power, strong low-end torque for pulling skiers, and impressive fuel efficiency. It has a complete full service history with the same dealer and runs beautifully. Added modern touch: a GPS-based speedometer for accurate readings. Condition & Equipment The boat is fully functional and ready to set sail straight away. She has some minor cosmetic wear (as you'd expect from a 37-year-old hull), but mechanically and structurally she's sound with no issues.
