Hull and wheelhouse of the boats are built from marine grade aluminium. Both are constructed of marine grade aluminium using material EN AW 5083 Hill (sheets) and EN AW 6082 T6 (profiles). 5 watertight bulkheads in each hull of the catamaran, dividing them into 6 watertight compartments: steering gear compartment, engine room, tank room, technical room, bow thruster room and fore peak. The vessel is designed to fulfil one compartment damage stability. The vessels have a classic propeller system, where the power is transferred from the main engine through gearbox to shaft-line and propeller. The propulsion system consists of two main engines with equivalent equipment. In order to increase the maneuverability of the vessels as well as the safety of service technicians during transfer and safe access to/from WTG or OSV, both vessels are equipped with jet rudders, one on each float. To increase the operational window = weather window for safe crew access to/from the WTG or OSV on both vessels, high-friction fender systems have been assembled on the bow from one of the most well-known and experienced manufacturers SEASIGHT FENDERS/Demark. This manufacturer is the first and only maker of unique rubber fenders with a winning combination of high friction capability and unmatched durability that provide the ship with the highest possible performance and safety during CTV operations.
