Here we have a very interesting boat – the popular Fairline Weekend 21 from the 80’s, but this one is fitted with a new Volvo Penta AD41B, 6 cylinder 200hp diesel engine in 1998. The engine is paired to a 290 duo prop sterndrive and we have service history for the engine (boat unused for at least 2 years). With this engine, the boat should perform around 30 knots top speed with great fuel economy. There’s a huge advantage owning one of these with a diesel engine for both fuel economy and reliability. We have recently had an offer for someone to buy the engine & drive for £9,000. Offers on the asking price considered. This boat is being sold as a project as it needs some updating now, including a new canopy and/or tonneau cover and replacement pilot & navigator seats, and new carpets in the cabin. The cockpit upholstery is brand new, and has never been sat on.
