Selling your boat? We offer a comprehensive brokerage service, principally at our Glascote Basin site near Tamworth. Our central location in the heart of the Midlands gives us easy access to the entire canal network. Our knowledgeable staff are highly experienced in valuing and selling boats and can guide customers through every stage of the selling and purchasing process. Potential purchasers benefit from a full range of facilities and on site services. Our friendly, knowledgeable team is always on hand to lend support and advice. Ancillary services, such as surveys, blacking, painting, and repairs can be undertaken in our workshops and covered dry dock. All viewings are by appointment and those undertaken at our basin are always accompanied by a member of staff. Our expertise adds confidence to buyers' decision making, widening the range of boats we can sell and the diversity and experience of customers we can sell to. Boats are always marketed to the highest standards, on Apollo Duck, on social media, and on our own website. Each advertisement includes high quality photographs, a detailed layout plan, and extensive craft specifications. For each boat, we provide a 360 HD virtual tour, which opens up the market to potential purchasers a long way from the basin. We can also provide a video walkthrough on request. We are well known for our bespoke boat building and fitting and we frequently benefit from coverage in the major waterways publications. We also enjoy exposure at Crick Boat Show where we exhibit our own boats and historic vessels, and where we advertise our current brokerage narrowboats. We charge 5% (+VAT) commission on the final sale price of the boat. We offer free moorings in our basin for up to three months, whilst the boat is for sale with us. However, we can sell your boat from your home mooring if this is within easy driving distance of Glascote.
