Thea was beautifully built by the renown Piper Boatbuilding in 2008 to a 65ft custom design which gives good family accommodation. The lounge is forward with loose furniture, a Squirrel stove in hearth, and floor cupboards; the galley is fitted both sides with plenty of cupboard space, drawers and Corian worktops, the dinette, in a separate space, converts to a double berth; shower room with pump-out wc, shower and Corian topped vanity unit. The main bedroom is towards the stern with double wardrobe, cupboards and drawers, the aft cabin has a single berth, the electric cupboard, washing machine and drawers. Good access to the engine (Beta 43) and the extended rear deck with two seats. Well equipped with engine mounted generator, 2 x Victron 3.0kw inverter/chargers, 8 x domestic batteries plus 1 x start, 2 x solar panels and 2 x side doors with steps for access. The quality of the oak wood work is typical of this builder - very good - with soft closures on all drawers and storage everywhere!
