Built in 1936 by W.J. Yarwood & Sons for the Grand Union Canal Carrying Company, Zodiac is a rare full-length “Middle Northwich” motor. She retains her original riveted cabin together with her rounded chines (3/8") and V-bottomed hull (1/4"). An 18ft 6in extension cabin has been added to provide further accommodation, with the remaining 30ft hold area covered by traditional cloths.
