Kiehtan is a 50ft traditional-stern narrowboat, built by Jonathan Wilson and fitted out by Simpsons in 2004. She is powered by a Barrus Shire 1802 40hp inboard diesel engine and offers comfortable accommodation for up to four berths. Kiehtan is a wonderfully cosy live-aboard boat, full of character and charm. The traditional stern is generously sized, allowing two people to stand comfortably, and features a large hatch providing excellent access and light. This leads into the engine room, which has a strong sense of a traditional boatman’s cabin and works perfectly as a wet area.
